A concert that ANYONE can enjoy. Allen Stone is literally the best singer and performer I have ever seen-I’ve been to two of his concerts. Everyone can enjoy one of his concerts.
    LOVE YOU ALLEN STONE!

I attend 20-30 concerts a year and I have trouble thinking of a show I enjoyed more than Allen Stone. The opener, Haley Reinhart, was amazing, and possible the sexiest woman I have ever been in the same room with. The backing band was excellent and worked together flawlessly. Allen Stone himself is extremely energetic without being over the top, and his voice may be better live than in his recordings. Overall incredible show. I heard many people at the concert say it was the greatest show they had ever been to.

Allen Stone did a great job engaging the audience to participate and enjoy themselves. For me and my husband who are first-time attendees – we felt included right from the start. For our daughter, who has gone to several Allen Stone concerts in the Seattle area and in fact met Allen and purchased his first CD back when it was just Allen and his guitar when they were both 16, it was the great show that she was expecting. I wished we had looked for the tent that sold his CDs to enjoy on the way home but we will be on the lookout for his next album release. I must say that the Chateau Ste Michelle Winery venue is absolutely amazing, what a perfect evening.

Allen Stone is the funkiest, most soul-filled white dude on planet Earth! And at such a young age… holy cow! This cat has a God-given talent that people only dream about. I had goosebumps through most of the show. He is amazing to watch – you can tell he is doing just what he was born to do and he is living a dream!

The Allen Stone concert was the best, most entertaining and inspirational concert I have ever attended. His extraordinary and immeasurable talent along with his effortless ability to engage any member of the audience regardless of their age, race and gender is truly incredible. I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that Allen Stone is the most genuine, talented, inspiring, and passionate artist I’ve ever come across. I feel honored and privileged to have had the opportunity to experience his live performance as well as his phenomenal and precise band. If I worked at Royale or any venue, I would get him to perform there again as soon as possible. I guarantee I would not be the only one who attended the concert Sunday that would jump at the chance to see him again. Truly amazing.

Such a sincere and gracious talent! He’s got an incredible voice and range.
Would have preferred an actual concert venue with better acoustics, such as The Orpheum or Showcase Live. This would’ve offered an appropriate setting to allow us to focus on and hear his amazing voice, rather than a club setting!
Can’t wait to see him again!

By far the best concert you’ll ever go to. Amazing stage presence, live performer and entertainer. You could see the chemistry amongst the band members and it was definitely passed on to the audience. If you enjoy listening to his albums at home or in your car, your appreciation for his music and Allen Stone as an artist will increase drastically.

I had heard a little of Allen Stone at last year’s Life is Good Festival and was really wowoed by his sound. I did not hear any more of his music until I attended this concert. He has such an energy and stage prescence! His sound is infectious. I am now looking to purchase his cd. His vocie quality is very similar to Jonny Lang.

Allen Stone brought so much energy and enthusiasm to his show! I expected a tenth of what he delivered! That calm demeanor and retro cardigan are good reminders to avoid prejudging. His songs were sincere and soulful. I loved the dance off and had a blast singing Shaka Kahn and Bob Marley hits! Thanks for a great time!

I was not at all familiar with Allen Stone, but had heard a great deal of buzz about him. I went with a friend who is a huge fan. First off, the opening act was pretty dreadful. It was a duo, guy and girl, called Sisters. Really karaoke-ish.
So, Stone was a pleasant surprise. His gravely falsetto is very cool. It’s hard to believe that voice is coming from a white guy! I love that he’s soulful, and his band is tight.
That said, he needs to pull back on the extended vibratos, as they get tiring after awhile. Also, he just tries to hard – he doesn’t have to, his voice speaks for itself. I enjoy an artist who works to connect with the audience, but he talks waaay too much between songs.
However, I do believe he’s a genuine talent and a genuine guy, and no doubt he’ll gather an even larger following with his first major label release.

Allen Stone gives a seemingly surreal, entrancing experience in music wonderland! His voice, sultry and real. His message and lyrics, intellectual and relate-able. His band, inter-planetary, out of this world amazing. All in all, one of the best shows EVER, and for only $15, it’s worth seeing more than once.

I’m not sure what was more amazing…running into Allen Stone outside of the venue 30 minutes before he was supposed to be on stage and watching him hold the door for everyone, getting to talk to him and hug him after the show, watching an audience of 1,100 people put their phones away as he reminded everyone how sad it is that we care more about technology and “contact highs” than we do about relationships with people, watching him split that same crowd of 1,100 in two and having them compete in a dance-off, or the moment I realized that this raw, soulful, and incredibly gracious guy is truly going to be one of the most talented, well-rounded and most genuine musicians our generation ever sees, and he is too humble or modest to ever know it. The world doesn’t just need more musicians like Allen Stone, it needs more people like him. Hands down it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Heard about Allen Stone through the grapevine and listened to a few of his tracks and thought he was good. Saw him at this show and live he is BEYOND AMAZING. This boy can SANG, not sing, SANG. He is high energy and has a narrative distinctly his own that draws everyone in. Definitely a repeat for the future. Keep up the excellent work, cannot wait to see what the future holds for him because it will be BRIGHT!

Allen put on an amazing show in Boston. I traveled far to see him again and it was worth it. The set was cut short, unfortunately. I noticed that because I had been to three of his shows before that night and he usually does 16 songs. He did 12 in Boston. I asked him why it was cut short after the show and he told me the venue double-booked. Boo to you, Royale. I will be doing more research the next time I plan on traveling to see him. The Royale is a nightclub, so they apparently care more about their club stuff than concerts they have. The show itself was wonderful up until the dance-off. I never liked the dance-off. I arrived at the venue way too early since I had come in from out of town (2:00 PM–doors opened at 7:00 with the show starting at 8:00). I earned my coveted front and center spot. So when my side finished dancing and I turned around to watch the other side dance and found a drunk broad standing in my spot, I was very upset. She basically humped me for the rest of the show, which is the only time I would ever say in regards to an Allen Stone show was THANKFULLY only three more songs. It would have been five more songs if the set hadn’t been cut short. Most people seem to love the dance-off, so I am sure Allen will continue to do it throughout his career. I’d rather it was cut out. I completely missed those last three songs (Satisfaction, Tell Me Something Good and Unaware) as a result of desperately trying to tune her body rubbing up on mine out. Thanks to the drunk broad and the set being cut short, while Allen was incredible and his backing band was tight, this was the worst of the four shows I have seen of his. I would say, for the future, if a show has to be cut short due to double-booking, maybe don’t do the five minute intro where Allen isn’t singing. Again, I would cut out the dance-off. That’s ten minutes right there between those two things, which would have been enough time for two more songs to be done. I can’t complain because overall I had a great experience, having seen Allen before the show and he remembered my name, which I wouldn’t expect considering how little we have interacted, but is really surprising considering how many people he meets all the time. I love Allen and his magical voice and I will travel far and wide again to see him. I cannot wait to see him again!

Allen Stone put on a truly unforgettable performance! We were already huge fans to begin with, and he did not disappoint, making our mini road trip from New York to Boston to see him entirely worth while! He has amazing stage presence, the crowd was completely engaged from start to finish, and most importantly, his natural talent was incredible! He sounded even better live than he did on his recording! He also cared enough about the fans to take the time out to meet and greet them after, and he is just as kind as he is talented. Overall a beautiful venue, a great show, and someone/somewhere we will definitely be visiting again!

The entire show was great from start to finish. I had never heard of The Shadowboxers or Bad Rabbits before this show and I left as a new fan. They were the perfect opening acts for Allen Stone. The show was unforgettable – the addition of background singers and the ridiculous talent that both he and the band exhibited left me and my friend in awe. I can’t wait to see them again (hopefully soon)!

Allen Stone was in fine form and voice for his first big-time hometown concert. He got the crowd up and dancing and fostered a wonderful feeling that I haven’t experienced at a concert in a long time. He did some stuff from his forthcoming Capitol recording, some tunes from his eponymously titled CD, some covers and some old stuff – a very nice mixture. He was clearly having fun basking in the love that the audience reflected back to him. A great star just about to hit it really big!

Super awesome show! Kept the crowd tapping their toes and moving their bodies. Yuna was also a great performance to watch AND to meet after her show. Venue (Fonda Theater) was veryy appropriate as it wasn’t too big so the sound was at the right level. Definitely a memorable performance from both Allen Stone and Yuna!

My third time seeing Allen Stone. He is just plain amazing. The energy this man and his amazing band creates is unparalleled. The drummer Jason is a force to be reckoned with, guitarist has multiple levels of talent, he bassist can play funky ass hell, keyboardist as well as the organist are great, and Allen’s voice is something that music has been missing since Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder were in the forefront of music. I HIGHLY suggest checking Allen Stone out as many times as you can.

I think it’s safe to say that Allen is the best singer I have ever seen live. He has so much soul and dances his heart out as well…it’s so cute 🙂
I also really enjoyed Tingsek. He played an acoustic set, but it sounded like so much more than just his voice and guitar.
Yuna had a nice voice as well, but her music is just a little bit too mellow for my taste. She has an India Arie/Lauren Hill vibe though that I liked.

Allen’s voice is amazing all by himself but his band and his stage presence make it an entire experience.
