Brandi Carlile is a rare and amazing talent. Perfect pitch and beautiful harmonies and able to rock you to your core. She’s easily my favorite female artist. The show was high energy and the band was clearly having as great a time as the audience. Would recommend going to see them as often as possible.

Fantastic show, venue and crowd. Love the energy of the Old Crow and the voice of Brandi Carlise. Then them playing together for some song was also great.

Brandi was meant to play at the Ryman. It was by far one of the best shows and very moving shows I have connected with at the Ryman. I imaged it was close to what it might feel like seeing Pasty Cline perform. Brandi and the twins used every vocal opportunity they could in this space and we feeling we had gone to church.

Brandi Carlile put on a stunning, upbeat show at the Hershey Theatre this July. Her vocals were flawless and her energy got the whole crowd pumped. This was for sure the best concert I’ve attended. I brought a friend who had never listened to her music before and she absolutely loved it! The acoustics in this venue were perfect for her music. After being a fan for years and finally seeing her, I can tell you that she is 10000x more moving in person than recorded (which I didn’t even think was possible!).

Brandi Carlile captivates her audience with engaging stories, incomparable talent, and unyielding passion for people in war-torn areas of the world. I was so so so thankful to see her perform at the best venue for intimate and acoustic performances—The Ryman.

Brandi Carlile is without a doubt one of the most talented singers around. Her songwriting draws on her incredible imagination and soul. She sings with conviction and enthusiasm that are unparalleled. She is one of my five favorite singers of all time and if you have not discovered or seen her you must give her an attentive listen.

Both Brandi Carlile and her band, and Old Crow Medicine Show know what it means to be consummate and versatile musicians, honor music’s roots, embrace innovation, and reach the crowd in enduring and personal ways. This was a fantastic show for old fans and new alike. A wonderful venue to enjoy music — with only one issue (which is the same at all outdoor venues), people need to be told to be quieter by the ushers. Loud, drunken conversations hinder others’ enjoyment of the show and it is the duty of the staff to prevent those disruptions and not tell patrons that it is up to us. There are signs saying they will enforce rules about loud behavior, so please do it.

A little self-indulgent of her to play ALL the songs from her new album and omit most fan favorites from previous albums.

This was a really fantastic show. Brandi is such a class act. I was especially impressed by how she played several songs with the Old Crowe Medicine Show, and then later had them join her act on stage for a few songs. She sang one unreleased song that was so very beautiful.

Awesome show! Beautiful evening. No one puts on a show quite like Old Crow. Love the combo of Old Crow and Brandi. They should record there version of “Jolene”

We’ve seen/heard Brandi a few times. This time was THE very best. Her comfort level at the Palace Theater in Albany, NY was incredible! It was quite noticeable that she loved the sound in this old theater. She also somehow got the crowd to quiet down so the band and then she with the Secret Sisters could sing without instruments or microphones. What a treat to my ears that was! She and the band played through the entire By the Way I Forgive You as well as some standards and even the Led Zep song Babe I’m Leaving. I titled this a life changing event and I’d like to explain why. My wife and I have been going through a tough time with family obligations and not having any real time for ourselves. Even this concert was being considered for cancellation because we just needed to breathe for a minute but thank God we went anyway. It was special time for us this evening. The music, more so a sing along, was just what we needed. I grabbed my wife’s hand while Brandi sang The Story which I’ve always thought of as my song to her, and I sobbed as I tried to sing the words to her again. Brandi’s words meant so much more to me that night than ever. I felt like I reaffirmed my love and connection to my wife all over again. Since then I’ve taken things a little less seriously and I’m remembering that our life together can transcend everything. I’ll be forever in Brandi’s debt for sharing her words with the world.

Brandi Carlile always puts on a great show, but this concert with Old Crow Medicine Show was hands down the best performance I’ve ever seen from either band. Amazing chemistry, powerful vocals, and a showmanship that can only be described as musical theater: these folks have it all.

Brandi was the perfect artist to play the Ryman – the many nuances of her voice are even more phenomenal in person, and the acoustic perfection of this venue was the ideal showcase. Brandi invites you into her world, and you can feel the love she has for her art, as well as her audience, radiating from her as she performs. I consider myself extremely blessed by this experience, and I highly recommend!

The acoustics @ the Orpheum allow one to drink in the amazing quality of Brandi’s voice. Brandi easily banters with the audience in between songs then takes you on a ride with her lyrics, multiple instruments & of course her incredible vocal range. The Secret Sisters deserve a shout out as well. They are very personable & harmonize beautifully. The whole evening is a win-win!

Brandi Carlile’s concert at the Hollywood Bowl was horrible. Right off the bat she was using the “F” bomb, then the “God Damn” lingo, then “Bull Shit” and on and on. She may have had 2 songs that were decent. Will will never see her again. On the other hand, “Old Crow Medicine Show” who had the first hour were fantastic. We would see them again and again, but without Brandi. Many people including us, left the Bowl after 40 minutes of her ranting and raving and trying to sing. We had a better time listening to great music on Sirius radio in our car while we waited for the so called concert to end.

This was the first concert in this venue and her last concert on this leg of the tour. The crowd was excited to be there, and the band was energetic, comfortable, and friendly. The music sounded as good as the recorded albums, and I enjoyed hearing older songs as well as songs that haven’t yet been released. I would definitely see Brandi Carlile in concert any time, and would also be interested in seeing more concerts at this venue which had excellent seats (even in the cheap section). I also appreciated that I didn’t leave the concert with my hearing damaged.

My husband and I have been Brandi Carlisle/Easy Street fans since The Story was first released. Hearing them sing in the wonderful Lyric Theatre was a treat! Brandi promoted her charity that helps children in war torn parts of the World. It sounds like a great charity to help children in these awful circumstances. We bought the cd where some great artists covered The Story. 100% of the proceeds go to the charity.

Both Brandi Carlile and Old Crow did super performances. Both bands were high energy and very entertaining to watch as well as listen too. The fact that both acts participated in each other’s performances enhanced the entertainment value even more. The encore by Old Crow is probably the best I’ve seen with up to 14 musicians playing at one time. All all all one of the best if not the best show I’ve seen an I’ve seen over a 100.

brandi came out and did a great set, a mix of some of her strong favorites and a new song written for her daughter. Old Crow I had never seen before, but they are why the show was sold out. They make a whole of of music at the same time, and have some footwork to back-up their roots. If you love Brandi, don’t leave early, as she came back and did about 5 songs with old crow, then the reset of her band came out for the last 2 encore songs..

Watching Dawes live was a spiritual experience for me, aND it was disconcerting to see them in an opening spot. Such amazing lyrics! The only drawback was the short set length. Brandi Carlisle was high-energy and has an amazing stage presence. Her Fleetwood Mac cover was unbelievable. Old Crow Medicine Show blew my mind with its onstage antics and various offerings.

Brandi Carlile and Old Crow Medicine Show were amazing! It all started with my love of the song Wagon Wheel and Old Crow’s style. I bought tickets, brought a friend that has never been to this type of show to see this type of music! She found her new favorite song from Brandi (What Can I Say), and I fell in love with The Eye. My friend and I took the long way home and jammed to our favorites from the show! Danced our pants off with some nearby new friends too!

Phil and Tim are an instrument themselves, the 3 of them together are a gift from Heaven. Really enjoyed hearing the back stories about the songs. Took crowd requests, finished the night out front, (off the mic) singing Amazing Grace…Amazing night!
