Fantastic show! Good mix of originals, covers, and Christmas favorites. The lighting is fantastic, but there are no special sets or special effects, just 5 guys singing with an amazing orchestra behind them. Our whole family enjoyed the show.

The Celtic Thunder Lads were outstanding as we knew they would be – I have been a fan since their first show on PBS 9 years ago – although some in the group have left, and a couple have come back, they always put on a great show – Kudos to Sharon Browne for putting together this wonderful group in 2007 – she chooses people with talent as well as good character – this is the most entertaining, wholesome show you could see! I have all of their DVDs to watch over and over again, but I hope I get to see them in person again!! FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!!

for what we paid for the concert, would not see them again. Concert was short, no encore. Haven’t been to a concert in 20 years where the audience was not given an encore and seemed like they were anxious to get off the stage. Come one Celtic Thunder, you are not that special!

Although a fan for many years, I had never seen them live, the experience far surpassed any television show. I was astounded at their range of genre and the total immersion in whatever type being performed.

Great show, Ryan Kelly singing House of the Rising Sun, pure magic. Can’t get any better than the group in kilts singing Ireland Calls.

The songs and singers were spot on. Great for entire family. Liked the comedy that they injected here and there. The new guy, Michael, has a wonderful voice and fits in just fine. He just needs a little more time to achieve the relaxed feeling of the rest of the group.

This was an early Christmas gift for mom. They are mom’s favorite group so I knew mom would like the show. Mom is pretty critical and frankly hard to please. After the concert she said to me, “this is the best thing I have ever been to” Mom is 74 years old and has been many concerts and shows over the years. She just loved it.

I am an avid and faithful fan/follower of Celtic Thunder. Although the faces are changing over the years; the pure, beautiful Irish voices and songs are incredible. Of course we miss George and Keith but I recently attended the November 2017 concert in Hershey, PA – beautiful theatre and what I love is …they just sang! Nothing extraordinary with a program or anything fancy wrapped around them other than the amazing orchestrate. This good is top notch and I will remain a loyal fan and continue to enjoy their music!

Excellent show, just wish it were longer. We traveled to Ireland and Scotland in May this year and the background pictures shown brought back many fond memories. A beautiful country! Could have listened to more celtic. Would go to another show again in a heartbeat!

I’ve loved this group for a few years now, but every time they had a concert it was either too far from me or I couldn’t afford it. I was excited when I go to go to their performance in San Antonio and had an absolute BLAST! Some concerts that I’ve been to, the groups just play the songs and that it. Celtic Thunder had fun on stage with several of their songs and interacted with the audience a bit. I would love to go see them again.

Each song if different you don’t know what is coming next, weather it is a classical music, or a rock concert style performance, musical theater or a comedy show. You will laugh cry, laugh, or get up and cheer. The best way to describe it is “The Celtic Thunder Experience”

This is the third time we have seen Celtic Thunder and each time the show gets better. This year we really enjoyed the comedy they put in the show. I wish there were more of the original cast, but I also understand that each of them have to better their own careers. It would be nice if they all came together for a reunion performance. I really miss George, may he rest in peace and sing with his Irish voice for the Angels and God.

I must admit that seeing the boys live for the first time in nine years was something of a thrill, even for this senior citizen. Their music has always been and still is both soothing and captivating. Three minuses, however: the seats I bought (second row, nothing between us and the stage) gave us an unobstructed view of the stage……..except for the obstructions that came from sound and other equipment. So, not a really happy camper, but that is a theatre management issue. Secondly, when I bought these tickets, Keith was clearly shown to be the sixth man in the group. Keith was not there, and no explanation was given as to why. Granted, the other five were excellent. Third, I cannot remember the last concert I attended that the artist(s) did not perform an encore or encores. This audience could not have been more enthusiastic and robust in showing their appreciation, but the boys gave several bows, and then left the stage, quickly followed by their band. Oh, well, I can say I saw them…….once!!!

Celtic Thunder at Atlanta Symphony Hall was great. I purchased my tickets at the last minute and got fabulous sets. There wasn’t a bad set in the house. Celtic Thunder’s music was wonderful as usual. With the combination of Celtic Thunder and the Atlanta Symphony the music was just beautiful.

Celtic Thunder accompanied by the ASO was everything we expected and more. During the show we found ourselves dreading the fact that this song could be their last of the night and we left the show sad that it was over. It was the most enjoyable show I have ever attended and the ASO was amazing. The whole evening was fun and memorable!

The program was filled with some old songs of theirs but not the usual ones, songs from Inspirational and the 2nd half was Christmas songs. The lads were in great voice both in solos and in the wonderful tight harmony they do. Damien even tried to dance??!! He had fun with it and so did the audience. The orchestra that played with them was fantastic.

Celtic Thunder put on a great concert with amazing production values. Each singer and player was outstanding, no weak links. However, like all concerts nowadays, the sound system was cranked up so loud it was at or just below the point of distortion. So I couldn’t make out any of the lyrics when the whole ensemble was performing together. Some of the problem is probably my old ears, but I don’t think it was all me. AND a lot of the audience was older, so maybe they had the same problem. CT’s concerts on PBS are much clearer, re sound quality. A wonderful evening nevertheless.

The background music was so loud that the voices and songs were distorted and, for the most part, completely beyond understanding. I had expected more traditional Celtic music and group harmonizing rather than the mostly solo performances. Their ‘dance’ movements were stilted and awkward. Several verses were left out of the rendition of Danny Boy, and of Hallelujah. Nor do I consider “Desperado” to be Celtic music.
All in all, I was thoroughly disappointed in the entire show and would not see this group again. The only thing is the group’s name that was appropriate was ‘Thunder’. They were, indeed loud!

Opening night of the new tour. these guys are always amazing. Things seemed to get off to a bit of a sluggish start, the boys may have had a little too good of a time on the cruise. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the 2nd half was ALL Christmas songs. We really enjoyed that, however very much missed hearing some of the old favorites like, Ride-On and Caledonia. Last tour Damien sang a song from the broadway play, “Once” and it was brilliant. Would have liked to hear that again. But all in all, a VERY enjoyable evening. A little mention about the venu.. what a dump!! These boys usually play at Broward Center or Kravis in Palm Beach, I can only imagine they saw “The Fillmore” and thought, “why are we playing here” The place is just filthy and in complete disrepair. Maybe that was the reason they chose not to do an encore.

These 5 men always give their all. They do a fabulous show and always engage so easily with the audience. I can’t stop smiling through the whole show.

As an Irishman the show was an UNMITIGATED DISASTER. A 10 year fraudulent anniversary. Everyone attending deserves to be refunded. Rating guide: less than 1 star!!!!!

Singers were good but overpowered by full orchestra and often in shadows due to poor
    lighting.

Celtic Thunder was much more animated than in previous performances. It was good to see Damian McGinty back in the group. It’s amazing, even as the group members evolve, that the overall quality of the performance continues to stay at such a high level. Great job! Looking forward to hearing more new material in future performances as well as the “old” favorites that have become what we enjoy so much from Celtic Thunder!

The whole show was fantastic. The guys sang beautifully, and I liked the banter on stage. Song choice was the best – several of my favorites and several new ones that I thoroughly enjoyed. Second half of the show was all Christmas songs, and again beautifully done. The orchestra that accompanied the singers was great. Would definitely recommend everyone seeing this show.

The concert was great, the Hershey Theatre was a beautiful, old restored theatre. It added to the entire experience.
