American Trad Rock
Rock & Roll
In 2011, taking a break from the Black Crowes, singer Chris Robinson in an experimental way formed an American Blues Rock band named Chris Robinson Brotherhood. This experiment turned into a solid group and now the aggrupation tour all over the United States, although originally the only pretension was to "have a local L.A. band, just play in California, see where the music takes us and have a good time."
The band has embarked in touring from the first steps of its formation, and this year is not an exception for the group to pay some visits to several cities in USA this month of July 2018 and the upcoming month of August. California, Arizona, Colorado, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Virginia are some of the locations the band will offer concerts to avid fans in those areas. Tickets are for sale in the our website as well as material related to the band merchandise, videos, photos, tour schedule, news, albums, and live releases.

BiographyThe band experiment started in 2011 with the making of a 118 concerts all over the USAand some other cities around the world. The band made the recording of its first album “Big Moon Ritual” the following year. Immediately, with a 3-month separation, the group released its second album, “The Magic Door”. Both productions received general praise from critics like the opinion emitted by Uncut considering “Big Moo Ritual”: “tenderly-executed piece of work…that’s both earthy and transcendent”; and “The Magic Door” was complimented by The Relix as “classic rock in the finest sense”.
After the long tour, the band took a break but return to the studio to work on the tracks of “Betty’s S.F. Blend, Volume One”. This production was made in five nights recording of 96 songs, being the best of them selected by the Grateful Dead’s record producer Betty Cantor-Jones. It got a vinyl released, only available in that format. This production was followed by two more albums with the rest of the selection of songs. The third entrance in this series was given a CD presentation as well as a digital download and online streaming diffusion.
In 2014 it was released “Phosphorescent Harvest”, an album that gained the admiration of Guitar World as stated in its critic saying that it was “a treasure trove of soul that advances the band’s bluesy, kaleidoscopic sound”.
The latest productions of the band were released in 2016 with its fourth album “Any Way You Love, We Know How You Feel” and an EP titled “If You Lived Here, You Would BE Home by .Now” which contains five songs left over from the sessions of the fourth album recordings.
