Biography

Guided by Voices (often abbreviated as GBV) is an American indie rock band formed in 1983 in Dayton, Ohio. Singer had a bottle of tequila in hand throughout entire set. Was almost empty by end of show. Too much drunken ranting & banter in between songs. Great set nonetheless.

Lead singer seemed to be drunk from the start and was seemed more interested in drinking from his bottle. Maybe if you have to be that drunk to play it means it’s time to give it up. He kept on slurring his words and I couldn’t understand a thing.

Show was a complete drunken mess on stage, but awesome as usual.
