I would have given Josh 5 stars if he would have had a longer set. There were several more song I would have like to have heard. Even though if was acoustical (I am not a fan of acoustical), it was wonderful. The mix of instruments was perfect.

Josh Turner was great! Martina McBride was a disappointment! Music too loud to hear her! Venue set up blocked part of the show because they had big screens in the way! We could watch them on tv from home!

Great show – best show we’ve ever seen in OC – only wish it lasted longer!

There wasn’t a bad seat in the house! It was a small and intimate venue. Even if you had “bad” seats they were still good and close. Josh had nice lighting effects that were not obnoxious like some of the other shows that I’ve seen.

Josh was amazing. His singing was impeccable. Enjoyed how he talked to the crowd from time to time; great sense of humor. He came across as a very genuine person; I think having such a small venue; which I loved, made it possible to really sense him. The facility was the best I’ve been to for seeing a concert for as long as i can remember; for sure the most comfortable seats. I got to drink my wine from a real glass. I also liked how there was no warm up band, Josh only and started on time. And I was glad It didn’t last so late, got home at a decent time. My appreciation for Josh’s singing has been enhanced immensely. The big smile was a bonus. Thank you, Thank you.

Josh Turner did not play but 1 hour. Audience was shocked that the concert was over so quickly. Would not attend a venue with him again.

Josh Turner did a wonderful concert despite the bad weather! The venue however was tight seating with lots of deep water puddles. My seats were 4th row center with great view. All in all it was a good experience. Thank you!

I expected a little more from and opener than a 1 man band, however, everyone needs to start somewhere and he wasnt bad.
Josh Turner was a great show, we had front row seats which we never had before and it was worth it.

The seats were okay. Josh Turner was great! Martina McBride came on the speakers sounded as if she was echoing really bad it was very disappointing. I have always wanted to see her, but I could have stayed home and watch a concert on TV that would had better then watching her live with all the echoing.

I enjoyed the music, but the concert only last 1 hour and 10 minutes which to me for $60 was a bit much. But what he did perform was very good.

Had a good seat with a great view close to the stage. Josh played all his past hits as well as a few that are rising now.

After seeing josh turner twice before I expected the same caliber of shoe with energy. He didn’t even introduce his band. They played barely an hour, and he rushed out behind the tent where a very small crowd was waving and asking for autographs. He didn’t even wave or walk the 30 foot to them to sign one. Really disappointed in him this time. Seemed like a stuck up snob. And that wasn’t my impression, I won’t be buying the new album that he so eagerly pushed during the show.

Of course, I thought the show was incredible, the music was awesome, and it was a great mix of music we all could sing along to! 🙂 Josh sings just like he sounds on the radio, there’s no fake talent there!
But above all, what I appreciated the most was his integrity and respect for himself and his family. He ignored the fangirls, while not acting rude or cold.
And let me tell you, I love a show with some praisin God in there! God bless Josh Turner! 🙂 Great show!!

The music at the Josh Turner concert was great, but I don’t think you get your money’s worth. You would think a guy that young could manage to play a little longer. The show was barely more than an hour. Not impressed.

Great show. Even though Josh was a bit under the weather he and his band rocked the house. The Hoyt Sherman is an historic icon and a great venue especially for this event.

The others were ok, However Josh Turner could have played more songs other than just teasing about singing it. And they could have came back and given an encore.
All in all it was nice.

I loved the show! Although I was a little disappointed that the whole band was not performing and the show only lasted about an hour with no “curtain calls”. It still sounded great!!! I just love Josh’s voice so low and smooth.

We’ve been going to alot of concerts lately, but the Josh Turner concert was just average for a Country Music show… somewhat boring, no crowd-rousing high notes, no message, no excitement, no cowboy boots, no cowboy hats, no energy. We thought there was an awkward silence between the songs when the band stopped playing, and were drinking water, adjusting their guitars and their shirts, and Josh had his back to the audience. They lacked cohesiveness and lost intimacy with the audience. With the stage situated halfway in the stadium, and the seats were still half empty, this band should get a clue that they need to ‘up their game’ if they hope to make their mark in the CM entertainment arena. Just sayin’…

Josh Turner was exactly as expected, no one compares to his awesome deep voice. He also has a beautiful smile, much better in person. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the little teenie bopper group behind us, with their high pitched screaming and singing at the top of their lungs. I wish some people would be more considerate of other people.

Josh Turner was absolutely amazing – both to listen to as well as to watch! He got the audience involved, he spotlighted all the members of his band (there were solos for just about every instrument throughout the night!!), and even told us a very short, sweet story about the couple dancing in the front near the stage. The theater was small, but the seats were comfy, and there was just enough room for my husband to dance with me. He played every song you wanted to hear and more, and it was an absolutely fantastic night.

Josh turner played for less than a half hour. This show was relatively calm–as in no one stood up except the back row. It was mostly middle aged people and it seemed like hardly anyone was excited to be there. Josh Turner sounds great live, but isn’t incredibly entertaining.

My wife loves Josh Turner, so she was excited when I bought her the tickets for Christmas. It turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever given her. We were in the fifth row, so we were close enough to see him and his band up close, without craning our necks. The Uptown Theater is a nice-sized venue because it is large enough to make a concert worthwhile, without it being too crowded. They played all the favorites, plus some from the new album. I liked the fact that he sounded just as good in person as on a studio album. He can really sing well, and his banter was humorous and entertaining.

The concert started a little after 7 pm and he was off the stage by 930. I think the cover band played longer than he did. He sang a few new songs, his few hits, nothing really great. Both worth the 120 (after fees) for 2 tickets. Hope he does better at other events.

We upgraded to VIP early arrival. We had some tasty hor d our vessels. Quality drinks. Seats are 5 rows from stage right. Josh was again, good to see. Did a lot of past hits and and few from new upcoming album. Just a small amount of talking, between sets but he kept the show moving. Sound in this venue is always just right.
