This review is only for Milky Chance. Not the sub-par bands who opened for them that claim they’re playing music. I would go to every MC show if I could they’re that incredible. The harmonica/guitar player Antonio was kind enough to come out after the show and chat and sign our shirts and take pictures. He’s so kind and unbelievably talented…. Love love love me some MC!!!!

  2. Roderick Sensmeier

Great opening band and milky chance was amazing in concert

  3. Johnathon Confalone

Big sound only wish they came on earlier! Really easy to get drinks/food. Didn’t have to wait in line longer than a few minutes.

  4. Mckinley Hyland

    Milky Chance was absolutely amazing.
    Had me dancing all night!
I got VIP tickets and met them before the show and they are the nicest, down to earth guys.

  5. Maia Kleban

Sold out performance at the Aragon Ballroom for Milky Chance. Chicago loved it and Milky Chance was pumped up by that. The venue was great. The light show was superb.

  6. Isaias Krugman

Milky Chance was great, but 2 warm up bands was too much. The Shrine was stuffy, claustrophobic with so many crammed in for 2 hours before the real show even starts.

  7. Robbie Pitsenbarger

I am pretty sure I would love almost any show that is at the skyline stage as long as the weather is nice. I have been to a lot of venues in Philadelphia and the Mann is hands down my favorite. Milky Chance put on a great show. They do, do an encore! When they walked off stage a lot of people left including myself and the band did come back out and breaking my heart said, “wait! Please don’t go, we have 3 more songs”

The aragon ballroom venue was nice because it was small enough where you still felt close enough to the stage. Milky Chance sounded soooo good live and had an awesome guy playing the harmonica. They weren’t full of themselves and were really humbled about being idolized by a bunch of screaming fans. It made the atmosphere of the concert really comfortable and free. They also played 3 more songs as an encore and played some new stuff I hadn’t heard yet, which was cool to see what was coming next from them. Clemens and Philipp just seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and are extremely talented. I hope they come back to Chicago soon so I can see them again!

I met the band after and these dudes are so nice, and just really care about the music and making sure the audience has a great experience! The music is better live and the energy is amazing.

  10. Joella Dluhy

Milky Chance was great. The venue was amazing- beautiful, spacious, high ceilings. Milky Chance is a whole fun time live.

I’ve seen them play now 2 times live. Every time they sounded terrible! Gave them the benefit of doubt on the first show hoping the venue had bad sound systems. But nope the second they starting singing the whole crowed lowered their phones and voices was a very sad and disappointing sight. Saw them again at Summer Stage yet again what a terrible show you couldn’t understand a word they were saying only knew the sound from the beat. Not sure where all these good reviews are coming from? Everyone in the crow said the same thing thing “these guys are terrible live” thats probably why they don’t tour often.

Milky Chance were simply amazing! I will definitely see them again! They really got the crowd into the music and created a mellow, but dance-y vibe that was beyond enjoyable! I would absolutely recommend anyone to see them! The only issue I am having with them right now is that I am having major withdrawal and I am just wanting to see them again so bad! Also the two opening bands, FMLYBND and X Ambassadors were really good at getting the night started off right and pumping up the crowd! Overall, one of the best concerts I’ve been to in awhile!
