This was my fourth time to see Rufus and undoubtedly his best. I love the arrangements with the symphony, and his solo piano songs were amazing too! What a great night!!

Truly wonderful show by Lucy and Rufus. Lucy was quirky and gave us some of her beautiful songs. Rufus was electric, giving us his range of emotion and voice in a super selection of his work. The Rufus and Lucy duets on “”Who Knows Where the Time Goes” and “Hallelujah” were stunning. Thank you!!

Rufus is so talented and self-effacing, he just blows me away! He was funny too and made the entire symphony hall feel like we’d just wrapped an intimate dinner party and had gathered around him, the piano and a full orchestra for some after dinner entertainment. He’s an amazing vocalist among so much of his other talents that I’ll never pass up a chance to see him live in the future. Highest recommendation for some magical music!

Rufus always delivers an amazing show — but hearing him backed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra was DIVINE! The sound, of course, was excellent. And Rufus was, as usual, charming and funny and a true showman. A++++++++++++++++++++++

The ASO concert featuring the music of Rufus Wainwright reminded me of why I have admired his vocalizing and compositional skills for so long. He played all my favorites, like “Going to a Town” and “Poses,” with such charm and energy. His hauntingly beautiful voice was enhanced by lush orchestration. What a great night in a superb venue!

This concert was one of the best I’ve attended recently, and certainly very likely the best I have seen at Symphony Hall. Rufus Wainwright has an amazing voice, and his teaming up the Atlanta Symphony was very well done.
