I was hoping with an amazing artist like Richard Thompson there would be more collaboration in the show, more real music especially in a town like Knoxville, but unfortunately this was just another show, with performances that were uninspiring.

This is a concert you don’t want to show up late for. Richard Thompson is the best opening act ever, and he was in the best voice I’ve ever heard him. If you aren’t familiar with him, this is your chance to get an introduction to a guitar and songwriting legend. Just wish we could have had at least 10 more songs from him.

Jason Isbell is one of my favorite artists, hands down. This was my second time seeing him put on a full show in the past 6 months & it did not disappoint! I live in Nashville, but lived in Huntsville for a few years, so I drove back down for the show & I am so glad I did! His sound was awesome & it offers something for everyone: the rock fan, the country fan, the singer-songwriter fan, & any other kind of fan imaginable. If you ever get the chance to see Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, do yourself a favor & GO!

Concert was amazing. The seating was a little tight, very little leg room.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit NEVER disappoint. I saw them the first and last nights of this tour – playing to home town crowds in Nashville and Huntsville – both concerts were wonderful.

From mild acoustic to rocking out, Jason Isbell can cover it all, and he does it very well. Great band, excellent with a crowd, we can’t wait to see them again!

Jason’s voice delivered beautifully and The 400 Unit backed him with precision. Easily one of my favorite shows after 30 plus years of concerts.

I have seen Jason Isbell & the 400 unit several times and each time is better than the last. I thoroughly enjoyed the set list although I wish they would have played Neil Young’s Hurricane. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about some of Jason’s memories of the venue.
