Biography

The Drifters are a long-lasting American doo-wop and R&B/soul vocal group. They were originally formed to serve as a backing group for Clyde McPhatter (of Billy Ward and his Dominoes) in 1953.According to Rolling Stone magazine, the Drifters were the least stable of the great vocal groups, as they were low-paid musicians hired by George Treadwell, who owned the Drifters name. Excellent show! Family-friendly, full of energy, lots of familiar songs. The Drifters are very down-to-earth and chat and joke with audience members!
    Hope to see them again.

All 3 groups were great and played the most popular old songs. Took my Mom for her 80th birthday/Mother’s Day gift. She had the best time. We saw them in February and went back again because they were so good. So much fun to go back in time and sing along to the old songs I remember my Mom playing when I was a child. All 3 groups were very talented and what beautiful voices! They did the original members proud!

The show was just allright. The biggest problem was that the event was from 9:00 until ?
