What a great night of classic songs from the Living Legend, Mr. Tony Bennett.
Tony’s daughter opened the night with a handful of songs and the band was just incredible.
Tony took three or four well-deserved encores – jogging back out onto the stage to the crowd’s delight. How Tony can do what he does a couple weeks short of his 91st birthday is a wonder to me – his energy is infectious.
I’m so glad we had the opportunity to see Tony live.

I can’t say enough about Tony Bennett. He is clearly the last of the crooners who makes the great American Songbook as valuable as ever. And it seems as if Radio City & Tony we’re made for each other. It’s my hope that Radio City can encourage Tony to make more appearances in the future. It’s an experience worth reliving over and over again.

Tony Bennett was amazing at 91 and so enjoyed his classic songs. Wish he had spent time sharing stories with the audience – I am sure he has many and it would have been nice to feel like he was sharing some of his personal life.

I fell in love with Tony Bennett Monday night. Standing ovations disrupted his performance all night as he sang his heart out for 90 minutes; full of love, class, respect and generously sharing the stage with his quartet; all devoted musicians. Best Monday night of my life!

Tony Bennett- do I really need to say more. My parents introduced me to his music. As a child I’d hear his voice coming from the living room and I ,even as a kid, immediately recognized perfection. All these years later he still has it. Furthermore, he exudes class. I would love to see him again. It was an all around amazing evening.

If you have the chance to see Tony take it! He is the last of the greatest singers of his time. And at 92 he said still a show man….. just don’t throw flowers on stage. Made me nervous to watch people throw flowers at his feet…. his is 92 after all!

Tony Bennett continues to prove his powerful & talented voice! He stated what a great performance venue that was recently built and proved it by putting the mic away and singing out loud where the audience could clearly hear him! The band members were impressive. The drummer looked like he is the same age as Tony! Where do these guys get the energy at this age?!

At almost 91 years old, he came out singing and dancing for over 90 minutes. This was a great show! I have listened to his music for decades, but until seeing him live, I did not understand how his interpretation of the songs turned them into pure poetry. Don’t miss the chance to see this national treasure backed up by a great 4 piece band!

Spending the evening with Tony Bennett was, in a word, “magical.” We knew throughout the entire show that we were experiencing something truly special. There were several times throughout the evening that I had tears in my eyes for no apparent reason. As we were driving home, my husband shared (before I did) that he experienced the same thing. Mr. Bennett’s voice was strong, he was charming, and he looked like he was as happy to be there as we were. Thank you, Mr. Bennett, for sharing your gift with us!

Absolutely loved seeing Tony. Don’t know when if ever we will get the opportunity to see this legend perform again. He performs with ease and grace. Not bad for a man his age. Was surprised he missed a lyric of his signature song. “Above the blue and windy hills” the correct lyric is “sea” Saw him 20 years ago at Jones Hall with Lena Horne and he doesn’t seem to have changed a bit.

Tony still sings like a young man. Amazing that he doesn’t need to take a break or even drink water. His voice seems to grow stronger as he gets older. The show was much better than I could have imagined and I expected a lot. An opening act was really unnecessary.

Tony Bennett is an ageless institution. My wife and I and another couple marveled at Mr. Bennett’s showmanship and vocal range for an older entertainer. We thought that he was brilliant given his wrongfully perceived age of 80. The next day when we learned that Mr. Bennett was actually 90 years old, we were even more in awe and amazement. I had never seen Tony Bennett perform before so I was especially happy that I was able to attend his performance earlier this month.

Let me preface this by saying that when you consider that Tony Bennett will celebrate his 91st birthday in August of 2017, it is remarkable that he is even still touring. That being said, he was terrific! Yes, his voice isn’t quite what it used to be, but he still sounded very good and he put on an excellent show. He was surprisingly energetic for a 90 year old. His daughter, Antonia, opened for him and performed several songs. She has a lovely voice and stayed true to the genre one would expect from Tony Bennett. Tony was accompanied by a four-piece band (piano, guitar, drums, and upright bass). The band was quite good, and the pianist was exceptionally talented. The show started at 7 on the dot, and lasted a little over 90 minutes; the band performed two instrumentals and Antonia sang 4 songs, Tony was on stage and singing the rest of the time. The venue was beautiful and the crowd was very respectful (with one minor exception). If you enjoy Tony, go see him while you still have a chance – I’m certainly glad I did!

If you ever get a chance to see Tony Bennett live and you don’t do it, well, don’t say you weren’t warned. It would be possible for him to perform his entire body of work but he hit many of the highlights from his very long career in fine voice. This 90 year old can still sing in such a way that it feels like you and he are having a personal conversation. And the man can still twirl and cha cha!

With much anticipation and some trepidation (he’s 90 after all) I got to see the great Tony Bennett at the new Smart Financial Centre concert hall in Sugar Land, Texas. His intro was a recording of Sinatra proclaiming Bennett as “…the best singer in the world.” He didn’t disappoint. At one point he quipped, “Go see Lady Gaga. She needs the money.” The venue staff still needs to train some more on spot light and camera work, but otherwise the sound was great and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. His daughter Antonia was a nice opening act for her dad.

Like a fine wine Tony just seems to get better and better with age! I must admit that I was a bit skeptical going to see him now that he is 90. Wow! Was I wrong. I think he was even better this time than when I last saw him when he was 85 years old. Can’t say enough good things about him–he is truly a legend. So glad that I went. He did about 8 encore performances and it seemed as though he did not want to leave the stage. He had a special connection to the theater in Appleton, Wisconsin being as he was the first act to perform there when it opened 20 years ago. I feel as though I was part of a very special performance and will never forget it. Thank you Tony!!

My mom and I went to see Tony Bennett and loved it! He looked like he was having such a good time up on stage and his smile was contagious. He has such respect for his fellow musicians on stage and gives them time to shine. His voice still had the strength to belt out those notes. All in all, fabulous concert.

Seeing Mr Tony Bennett has been on my “bucket list”. He did not disappoint… He delivered. Mr. Bennett was everything I hoped he would be. Me Bennett was a true artisan and consummate performer. His phrasing, his voice, his respect for the audience, his love of music, the way every song weaved a tapestry of life well lived. Mr Tony Bennett lived up to Frank Sinatra’s introduction as the Greatest Singer”. I loved every moment of it. The quartet was wonderful too.

The show was incredible. Tony sang about 30 or more numbers, taking several encores to standing ovations and saying” I can keep going if you want”. Of course this was met with stomping and whooping and whistles. The quartet that backed him were outstanding musicians who had many opportunities for solos. Unfortunately they were never introduced except for the piano plater. Tony repeatedly said the guitarist was his favorite and he was great but we never got a name.

Even at 90 Tony can still hold the room. The perfect Jazz delivery and timing was always his strength. Yes he is different from the 1st time I saw him at the Greek in LA but he still rode the smooth vibes of a wonderful quartet as he did a lifetime ago. It was indeed a polished performance before a full house.

The first time I saw Tony was 60 years ago in the Town & Country Club in Brooklyn. There’s not much difference now except for his moving about a little slower, but for a man of 90 years young, he is TOPS. Performed for an hour and 15 minutes. Can’t possibly count the number of songs or parts of songs he sang. Still Mr. Personality! And, his voice is still beautiful.

We have seen Tony 4 of the last 6 years and actually gets better with age. On Monday his voice was as strong as ever and his timing was perfect. Performed for 1.5 hours and never sat down. Actually did some dancing. He must of received 5-6 standing ovations throughout the concert.

Amazing performance by Tony Bennett. His voice was strong, you would never guess it was from a 90 year old, just beautiful. His band was fabulous, which he commanded with a beautiful balance to enhance the night.
I saw him a year ago with Lady Gaga, and thought that would be the top, this solo performance was magnificent. There were so many standing ovations, I can’t count them, all deserved for this show. It was as if he did not want the night to end, light on his feet, even treated the audience to a song without the mic, yes his voice was that strong. What a treat for all in attendance. He sang for over an hour and a half, no break, no sips of water, and always on his feet, a true professional.
I have been to hundreds of concerts over my lifetime, and this one lands in the top ten of memorable performances.
