We had amazing (and expensive seats) because I had heard the grading in Daily’s place made higher up seats not easy to view the stage. The venue had a wide variety of a food and drink options but everything was WAY over priced!! We missed Joywave (but heard they rocked the house) and did get to see Cold War Kids full set. It was way too low key for my liking. Felt like they should have been in a fully seated venue….then came Young the Giant! Man, is Sameer Gadhia is a true performer! I am so glad he dropped out of Stanford!! The sound was amazing, the lighting was beautiful and the performance was second to none!!

The venue, the parking, the ticket price, the performance were all outstanding and I’ll defini be back to daily’s as well as another show with young the giant.

As a big fans of Young the Giant, my wife and I decided to pop for the VIP package when we first heard about the show coming to JAX–boy, are we glad we did! While the price was steep for the ‘merch’ we got as part of the package, we found the acoustic ‘set’ (2 songs–really?!), and the Q&A well worth it! The Band is tight, and Sameer’s voice needs to be heard in person to believe! The openers were both strong in their own right as well, with Cold War Kids picking-up a BUNCH of new fans after their STRONG performance–Lead vocals are also amazing here! Finally, the full show by YTG was nothing short of spellbinding–if you weren’t moved to tears by the love version of Titus Was Born, then you need to check for a pulse! Not sure how these guys have been around as long as there have, yet are just seeing some of the commercial success they so richly deserve–they’ve really paid their dues!! DO NOT pass-up an opportunity to see this group perform–trust me!!
